Meet Nathaniel

I can provide the full spectrum of sound and entertainment for the entirety of your event- from the first arrival to the last goodbye.  I'll keep an eye on the flow and technical aspects of audio and music, and guarantee that everything unfolds smoothly so you can be fully present on your big day.

In a previous life, I was a songleader at Camp Tawonga and touring musician with bands such as Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, but for over a decade I've been rooted in the Bay Area,  helping families and couples find the perfect blend of live music and DJ entertainment for their simchas and celebrations.  Since founding Shamati Music with Isaac Zones in 2013, I have had the pleasure of bringing music to hundreds of b'nei mitzvot, weddings, and other unforgettable celebrations, both with the band and independently.  I love connecting with families as they plan their festivities, discussing a vision we are all excited about, and sharing what I've seen work well in order to ensure a seamless, beautiful event.  Whether it is an intimate 70th birthday dinner, or a 200 person bar mitzvah party, I bring a deep passion for music and community to every gathering I play.
